The built-in cuff and lace hook serve as a secondary gaiter, or you can roll it under if you're hunting in trail shoes to reduce the length of the pant by two inches. The nylon face fabric has proven to be extremely durable and will hold up to rough terrain. There is enough stretch in these pants to allow you to wear our Alps 3/4 Down Pant underneath them should the conditions warrant.
